It’s cloudy, it’s a cold dark, dawning,
It’s slow and silent this autumn morning.
Beech trees layer their leaves over strewn husks of beech nuts,
Whilst sycamore’s maple- shaped leaves drift silently to the dust,
creating cover for pre-strewn fascinating spinning of seeds.
Nature works her plan for winter, rejuvenation, new life.
